Music worshops for the young

“Le tout-petit festival musical in Saint-Germain-de-Calberte will provide music worshops aimed at a young audience from Wednesday 3 to Saturday 6 August 2011. In 4 sessions running from 11a.m. to 1 p.m., the participants and their facilitators will prepare a joint concert to be presented on saturday at 3 p.m. in the Temple of St Germain.

With who ?

Coordinator Raphael Clarkson.
Basic themes and African Gospel songs.
Sections : (three workshops of 45 minutes per day)

Voice  with Juliette de Massy and Dave Morecroft/Angela Reith on keyboard.
All types of vocal exercices, sighs, whispers, humming, whistling, chattering noises, vocals. Listening, improvisation, a capella.

Various instruments with Tim Ower and Dave Morecroft/Angela Reith.
Listening, improvising and experimenting on wind, string and keyboard instruments.

Rythms and sounds with Raphaël Clarkson and Dave Morecroft/Angela Reith..
Listening and improvisation, using matérials to product sounds, notes, rythms.

Together.
Group work to create and share themes.
Merging sections.
Creating of final programme présenté saturday at 3 p.m. in the Temple of St Germain.

Location of worshops : the village hall and the Temple.

Meet : wednesday, august 3 , 2011, 10.30 a.m. at the Temple of Saint-Germain.

Registration

Registration is open to children and adolescents aged 5 to 17 years.

Prices : 15 € membership, course : 20 €
