Dedicated to Charles and Suzanne Julien

In 1960 or so, Papa Charles and Mammanzette, brought our family to the Cevennes , on their stately, heavily loaded bicycles. They introduced us to the landscape, the terraces, the climate, and the people. They were received by the families of Le Cros, they joined the valley and its traditions of goats, vines, cheeses, bees, and waterways. They brought us up to cherish the hard history, the beautiful nature and the good people of St Germain and its valleys.
With this little festival of music and friendship, in the sweet Cevenol summer nights, we thank them and remember them.
