The tunes will be chosen from my 1650 compositions, some as old as 40 years, some as young as one month. We will give the premiere performance of a tune written for and dedicated to the Tout Petit Festival “FEATHERDUSTER”. We will also play several tunes by my teacher Thelonious Monk. My music is, hence, both composed and improvised, closest spiritually to Monk’s weird take on bebop, but drawing from the entire panoply of Modern music.
